Burkhard Vogtherr

Burkhard Vogtherr, born in 1942, has been running his product design business since 1972, working for renowned furniture manufacturers from all over the world. He is one of the best-known German furniture designers and has won many awards over the course of his career. His expertise in areas such as sitting posture at work and movement sequences is incorporated today in his designs for swivel chairs and conference furniture. However, Burkhard Vogtherr does not restrict himself just to form and design – he develops prototypes that stand in their own right. This often results in highly inventive furniture leading to patents across the globe.

DIAGON EXECUTIVE/MANAGER

Diagon Executive is a high-quality deluxe swivel chair within the Diagon range. It has a high backrest with height-adjustable headrest. The upholstery is especially soft, and the leather covers bear testimony to the intricate sewing techniques applied. The polished aluminium armrests also have leather padding. There is a choice of either Montana semi-aniline leather or a particularly exclusive Dani Acquario aniline leather. The Executive swivel chair also offers all the features that define the Diagon range. These include the backrest, which is flexibly mounted onto two pendulum joints and ensures that the reclining movement is in perfect sync with the user’s body as well as creating a very large opening angle of the seat and back. A matching high-quality cantilever chair is also available to complement the swivel chair as a visitor or conference chair.
