HEALTHY SITTING
You may have experienced neck pain, back tension, lack of concentration and fatigue before; these are the complaints that can arise during a business day. An ergonomic work chair and table are not enough alone to eliminate these complaints. Healthy sitting can be achieved when user integrated with sitting habits. Healthy sitting can be achieved when the user perform the following behaviors.
• The head should be up and the chin should be above the shoulder.
• The eyes should look down gently (with approximately 30 degrees) without bending the neck.
• The backrest should support the curve of the spine.
• The elbows should be parallel to the 90 degrees angle of the forearm and the shoulders should not be stiff.
• When using mouse wrists should not be bend.
• The upper leg should make an angle between 90-110 degrees with the hip.
• The feet should be totally touch the ground, if this is not possible, then a feet supporter should be used.
