Gürhan Bakırküre is the founder of Bakırküre Architecture, the new guest of Office Chats with Tuna.

Gürhan Bakırküre is the guest on the sixth episode of the conversational series “Office Chats with Tuna”, published every 15 days on Arkitera’s YouTube channel. The other guest in the conversation, moderated by Cemal Çobanoğlu, is Tuna Office Sales & Marketing Department Head and Tuna Girsberger General Manager Mehmet Arda.

Cemal Çobanoğlu started the conversation with his question of how Bakırküre Architecture was founded. Gürhan Bakırküre said that the office was established in November 2013 and will turn five this year.

The Advantages-Disadvantages of Shared Structuring

Upon Cemal Çobanoğlu asking about the advantages and disadvantages of a shared structuring, he said that both sharing the problems and the beauty is among the advantages of shared structuring.

“Our partnership with Girsberge goes back to 1989”

Mehmet Arda spoke about their partnerships with Girsberger.

“Our partnership goes back to 1989,” he said. “In those years, there wasn’t a partnership but a commercial relationship, but there was a process in 1992 that led to a partnership. Our partnership is a 50-50 even partnership. A 50-50 partnership looks like it would be difficult but it does have this advantage; when do everything in an environment of mutual convincing and discussion while comparing everything, and you try to reach what’s best.”
